Poor Design

So yesterday morning I was all set to leave for work on my bike. The weather was perfect, I just needed to put my shoes, backpack, and helmet on. I was struggling with my helmet, the inside tightener adjustment was not moving, then snap. I looked and a plastic piece inside had broke. Then I decided to use Zachary's helmet, when I found his, his was broke in the same place. So I ended up driving to the office instead as I usually do. We will have to go helmet shopping soon.

Are all bike helmets designed this way?

Sounds like a design flaw, unless you both have weird heads or something. haha, I kid, I kid. I would probably go for something more top of the line. I would imagine they can get pricey, but It's worth it for that kinda stuff. You don't see Lance in a Walmart brand helmet. lol.

Unfortunately they are pretty much as top shelf as Wheel and Sprocket carries.

There are a few really big specialty bike shops here in Madison, I bet you could get something a little more reliable at one of those places. I could do some diggin for ya this weekend, I'll probably be pretty bored anyway. :~)

Those were around $80 each, I am not sure my scull is worth any more than that :)
