What's in a Name?

An interesting study from England was recently published stating a correlation between naming cows and milk production. It says dairy cows that have names tend to give more milk. Here is the link to the story.
The science behind it seems more of a survey of farmers so I don't think there is much to it, but it is fun none the less.

Like you my cows all have names but I'm wondering how someone would react if they asked about a certain calf I have here. Named of course The Terrorist...think she would end up in a shed? Somehow the name would scare that option right out the farm gate.LOL!

On the gardening side of things...I grow wilted tomato plants, companion planted by three giant weeds and some kind of flowering thing that is also a weed.Wonderful harvest I'll have. How does shrivelled tomato salad sound?LOL!!

Great posts!!!

Take care
